Saturday, August 6, The sun is blazing, the temperature outside is in the nineties and climbing, and even the most die-hard of sun lovers are waving the white flag skyward in desperation. Time for a Christmas story! The children's father has died, leaving the family homeless. Determined to keep her family together, their mother, Madame Calcet, leaves her children under the bridge during the day while she works at her job, where she hopes to save enough money to eventually afford a rented room of their own. Armand wants nothing to do with the children - starlings is what he calls them, and nothing but trouble - but the children see through his feigned gruffness and before you know it, he becomes their unofficial Grandpapa.

Children's Literature
This current, ongoing work comes out of a deep connection to layers of life, dream world, waking life, and a sense of the beyond. The first graphite layer on the surface is a manifestation of an inner reality, dream…executed without conscious intent. I do multiple drawing in one studio session.
The term children's literature in this article is applied to different types of literary works. Up to the end of the 18 th century it refers to literature whose style and treatment of content is also suitable for a young readership age group 4—14 approx. While until modern times very little literature was written for children, there is no doubt that some of the biblical and post-biblical Hebrew literature was widely read by the young and was part of the curriculum in Jewish education. It was only with the rise of interest in children's education — the development of pedagogical methodology and child psychology — that a real children's literature began to be composed.
