Thank to everybody who came to our gig last weekend at The Kings Arms. Undiscovered Moons Of Saturn opened the night and delivered a doom-drenched hallucinatory trip into the cosmic heavens. Bloodnut followed with their heavy-ginge stoner-rock fresh from the burning depths of their Viking kingdom before Shepherds took the stage. Closing the evening after us was the legendary Girls Pissing On Girls Pissing with their hypnotic blend of death-folk-jazz with the avant-garde. This gig was a special one for us as we played a new song live for the very first time. We’re steadily working on new material, some of which we hope will be ready for our upcoming shows.
Speaking of upcoming shows, we have two currently booked over the next two months. We will be opening for Christchurch post-rock band No Broadcast at Lucha Lounge on Saturday the 18th of October in support of their new album, along with The Shocking and Stunning and Proton Beast. We will also be opening for Wellington post-rock band Into Orbit at The Wine Cellar on Friday the 21st of November, also in support of their new album, together with our friends Undiscovered Moons Of Saturn. Make sure you check out these bands’ new albums when you get the chance: No Broadcast (self titled) / Into Orbit (Caverns)
